Pacuvius Duskywing
Erynnis pacuvius

Observation date: July 23, 2022
Submitted by: DeepSkyKelly
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: This individual is pretty bedraggled. It looks like it USED to have white fringes on the lower wing (Funereal or Pacuvius maybe?), but the lack of markings on the drab upper wing has me scratching my head. This may not be enough for an ID.
Status: Resident

Coordinator notes: not a great specimen, for sure, but white fringe and bit of tawny near back of FW point right at Pacuvius. not often reported from Colfax County, so this is a good record. I can't recall if I've seen it a Sugarite before either. terrific!
