Observation notes: HUGE BUTTERFLY - Feeding on the last of the dog bane blossoms along with a much smaller orange colored Great Spangled
Rare to see this coloring. Butterflies of the Northwoods by Larry Weber - Pg. 93 has a photo and reference to Mogens Nielsen book "Michigan Butterflies and Skippers - Titling this TAWNY COLORED Very big species as Speyeria cybele krautwurmi (Holland)
