Observation notes:
Swallowtail was seen in the morning in the front yard (just one butterfly observed), hungrily feeding on our garden patch of Narrowleaf Milkweed (Asclepias fascicularis). It temporarily left as we photographed it, but returned many times in the half hour we watched it. Temp. was in low 70's degree F, sunny & warm.
