Arctic Fritillary
Boloria chariclea

Observation date: July 12, 2022
Date notes: NOTE: Clear Creek County is the actual location.
Submitted by: Cascade Colors
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: This one was right at/near treeline; basically at the willow shrub elevation level and beginning to get above that.
Status: Resident
Verified by: mikefisher
Verified date: July 31, 2022
Coordinator notes: This one is the Arctic Fritillary...this is the most common of the small frits that occur in the mountains above 9000 feet. I like that..."analysis paralysis" ! Even I get that sometimes and sometimes why I pause BAMONA IDs for periods of time. Mike
