Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Observed at Balsam Forebay. Warm, mid-90sF temps and slightly breezy conditions in the Sierra National Forest. Many pollinators out and taking advantage of the many mountain wildflowers. This specimen was reluctant to show a clear view of it's wings underside. Attached is the only photo I did get of it's underside.

Coordinator notes: This is hard without a clear view of the under hindwing but I will go with Zerene because of the clear upperside markings, hydaspe has heavier markings on the upperside, at least most of the time-Ken Davenport
