Coordinator notes: It's so much easier to ID moths now with the aid of iNaturalist. If I'm unsure of a proposed ID, I copy the photo and use the photo editing program GIMP to rotate the photo head-up, sharpen the photo, and alter the levels and contrast before testing the photo in iNat and then compare the photo with verified IDs. Many times the first suggestion on iNat is the correct one although not always.
