Observation notes: Kept landing along dirt road, in an open area of burnt coniferous forest habitat. Elevation around 7,000' amsl. Only comma seen during my hike from Taylor Lake to Kettle Rock.

Coordinator notes: Subspecies zephyrus. The top photo looks more like Satyr Comma, but you say you only saw one individual so I will go with that.-Ken Davenport
