Observation notes: I notices caterpillars eating my licorice plants I have potted at the entrance to my home. I posted a question on a plant site how to rid of them, to my surprise the replys I got taught me how special these, what I now know are, American Lady Caterpillars. I am enjoying watching them eat away and hopefully I'll be lucky enough to witness the transformation of one into a butterfly.
