Observation notes: He fell onto my husband's ball cap while my husband was sitting in our horse barn in Boulder, Colorado near El Dorado Canyon. He was vibrating his wings rapidly, and was in perfect condition. Very large, around 6" wide. We tried to carry him outside, but he fluttered away and clung to the indoor wall of the barn. We turned out the lights so he could hopefully find his way outside. I went out this morning and could not locate him.
