Observation notes: Near a floodlight in a backyard bordered by woodland. I have certainly seen a lot of moths this year that I haven't seen before. Over the last few days a lot were from Wisconsin Rapids, where I have not looked as much, but it has been true in Lac du Flambeau too. I wonder if the cool weather in the spring changed something and is the reason?

Coordinator notes: Just my guess that the weather may have something to do with the increased showing. I still have not seen very many larger moths down where I live but the increasing urbanization of the area may play a part. (Also the bats flying overhead at night:)) Caddisflies are very abundant, however.
