Observation notes: On 6 May 2022, after Dale dug up all the parsnips from the home garden and got the bed ready to plant, I went out and found a 2 inch long brown pupa sitting on top of the newly raked soil. We kept it in the house in a container (with a few holes) with soil and some leaf litter and got this moth today! At least 2 inches long. We released it outside after photos. Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. 15 June 2022. We have 2 grapes in the yard and there is lots of Virginia Creeper in the neighbourhood.
