Observation notes: Sunny day with temp about 90 degrees, no precipitation. This insect was spotted on the sidewalk along a grass border. I am afraid that one wing is damaged/missing and it was staying close to the ground. No flying was observed. We have several other sphinx moths present in our neighborhood - this was the first time coming across this type. It is beautiful. And I hope it was able to propagate before its wing was damaged.
