Observation notes: The habitat is pine flatwoods within a large area of swamp, mixed hardwood forest and wet prairie. The subject was on an unidentified plant. Nearby vegetation included: Sweetscent camphorweed (Pluchea odorata), Spurred Butterfly Pea (Centrosema virginianum), Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens), Swamp Rose (Rosa palustris) as well as other flora expected in similar habitat. The weather was clear, light breeze, 90F.
