Observation notes: This butterfly was in my garden. No flowers are blooming and very few plants are up. He was just flitting around and sunning himself.

Coordinator notes: A very fresh specimen with good clear views of markings on top and underneath. This butterfly loves lilac bushes and often is seen as they start to bloom.
