Observation notes: This butterfly perched on grass several times before settling on rabbitbrush and staying there for a minute at least. The only flowers blooming now are the prickly pears and thistles but I didn't see any butterflies visiting either at this location. Sandia hairstreaks continue to be quite common, I saw a pretty fresh individual today.
