Coordinator notes: This looks to be a female Persius Duskywing which have a lighter area on the forewings, similar to the Afranius Duskywing. Pacuvius in the eastern Colorado Front Range normally has a very distinctive white fringe on the hindwings (but is sometimes mostly dark) but the forewing has a definitely more well mottled pattern with purplish overtones. You should be able to compare with photos of each species posted on the BAMONA website. Besides taking nectar from the flowers, she might be laying eggs on the Thermopsus...one of the hosts for persius. Mike
