Observation notes: Same location as photographed on May 22. Definitely more than 20 individuals here. In the open on rocky volcanic slope. Some basking on the road at the base of the slope. Saw 2 struck by a passing vehicle. In this series of 3 photos a mating pair were being harassed by a third individual trying, it seemed, to wedge them apart. After a while it left but then returned.
