Coordinator notes: I think this is the real Coastal Hairstreak but the correct name for it is Callophrys viridis per the ICZN decision about 10 years ago. The other one that really is Callophrys dumetorum is the Bramble Hairstreak formerly known as perplexa. So I think yours is the rare one based on field marks, but impossible to know for sure without DNA testing. BAMONA to date has not updated the names. The Coastal Green Hairstreak is Callophrys viridis and a prior revision was overturned-Ken Davenport
