Observation notes: Red Oak tree is missing tons of leaves (partially or fully chewed); there were 5-7 of these groups of oakworm caterpillars resting as seen in the picture. 84 degrees; humid, overcast; rain expected. Open area near bordering forest. Yearly inhabitants of this Red Oak.
