Observation notes: I saw this butterfly oviposting on an Astragalus plant. It laid oviposted on two seperate plants before flying to another plant to nectar. Based on BAMONA and butterflies on NM Acmon uses Astragalus as a host plant but Lupine doesn't. The location was near Embudito canyon, a bit south of the main trail and not in the actual canyon. It is the same habitat as the canyon except for the geography.

Coordinator notes: I give you credit for trying to figure it out based on larval host. I'm not sure it will stand the test of time, but for now I can't argue the other side. Good diagnosis!
