Observation notes: Per mothvet. I’m always blown away by the biodiversity along the Little Plover River. 5/13 was a very productive night, I think I had over 100 individuals show up to the lights. I’m hoping for many more nights similar to see what species are around, getting a feel for species distribution across Portage Co has become a sort of obsession of mine which started with birds. In the coming years I hope to get a portable set up so I can survey some of the areas east of town that have substantial amounts of oaks.

Coordinator notes: You have an excellent area for insect life. I live in a village, luckily on the edge of town, otherwise I think there would be even fewer insects around the yard, especially with all the lawn care vehicles roaming the area.
