Observation notes: Two individuals seen near the administration building at the Waubay National Wildlife Refuge. 63F, windy, and overcast, threatening rain (a strong rain began about a half hour later). One individual was nectaring at a dandelion when a somewhat larger individual approached and began fluttering around the first. The first went to ground and the second followed, continuing to investigate. After a while, they separated (possibly because of my presence) and one individual flew off. A male courting a female? Or perhaps two males?
