Observation notes: Partly sunny with high thin clouds, very windy, extremely dry, warm with temp in low 70s F. One seen struggling against the wind to land on a grass stem. Once on the stem, it clamped down with its midlegs hanging on for dear life. With the strong winds it was whipped back/forth and up/down, but held on. Hard to get a decent photo with all the movement.
