Our 2023 fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America online and free. Your support is vital to the project. Please make a recurring or one-time donation to sustain this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: There were 4-5 of these (or similar) flying around, at a small streamlet.

Coordinator notes: duskywings are a tough group to diagnose. tp to 7 species in your area. Persius is remotely possible, but so is Afranius. Rocky Mountain is more frequently encountered, so I'm going with that, I encourage you to scout hilltops for Persius and lower drainages for Afranius. Try to include ventral shots and include detailed site descriptions including landscape position, nearby plants, elevation, behaviors. thanks for submitting!
