Observation notes: 3 individuals flying together, perching on rock debris in an active log sort. Dominant Sedum species covering entire area is Sedum oregonum, while the other flowering species include paintbrush, sea blush, field chickweed, monkey flower, whole leaf saxifrage, typical southwest facing bluff ecosystem. Temperature was 16 degrees, sunny with some clouds, slightly breezy. I’ve been monitoring this species at this location for three years, with many sightings of this species during the last week of April until the third week of May.
