Coordinator notes: So far, on the White Checkered Skipper is recorded from Ventura County but is likely the Common Checkered Skipper (Pyrgus communis) will turn up in the Apache Canyon area. Photos will not work, it will require checking the genitalia, both have identical field marks.-Ken Davenport
