Observation notes: Red-spotted admiral perched on canyon grape vines/leaves and sunning. This site is located in the creek bed near the beginning of Pine Tree Trail, above Aguirre Springs Campground, on the east-facing slope of the Organ Mountains. The day was under bright sun, cool, and windy with gusts.
