Observation notes: We were at Emerson Point Preserve, Palmetto, Manatee County, Florida. We were along the shore of the Manatee River/Tampa Bay. I noticed a butterfly lighting on the Sea grape blooms. I got very excited to see it was a Ruddy Daggerwing. A beauty and this was really north for them. I had seen one at Corkscrew years ago in Naples/Ft Myers. We all got several photos as it moved around the sea grape.
