Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Several similar moths at edge of woods. Coloration and pattern varied. Maybe multiple species? The Seek app suggested the genus Pseudexentera for some, and tribe Eucosmini (which includes Pseudexentera) for others. Weather: partly sunny, mid 50s F.

Coordinator notes: Thanks for the earlier comment about using "Seek". Later that week I also heard the program mentioned on a radio program. I now have a phone with the program. Also took another look at iNaturalist which I hadn't looked at for several years. What an improvement! Started posting photos there, too. I'll have to see if a category for "Pseudexentera species" can be added to the BAMONA database. There are close to 600 of these moths languishing at genus level on Bugguide. Seems dissection of the moth may be needed to determine species.
