Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Two individuals with bright coloration perching from coyote willow and three-leaf sumac shrubs shielded from the strong afternoon wind. This is my earliest observation of this species along the Rio Grande. The afternoon was warm, under full sun, and with strong, gusting wind.
