Observation notes: Small crescents have appeared within the extensive Bermuda-grass habitat along the east bank of the Rio Grande. Several individuals were observed and photographed hiding in and perching on the dried grass blades; a few were nectaring from water speedwell flowers. This day was warm, breezy, and under bright sun.
