Our summer fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America online and free. If everyone who uses this resource makes a donation, we could cover our ongoing costs, develop new features, upgrade the system, and maybe even remove those pesky ads. Please make a one-time or recurring donation to show your support for this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: Found around 3800’ elevation. Caught perching on large bush with magenta purple blossoms in cascade canyon. Temperature was high 60’s and was a sunny day.

Coordinator notes: Yes, it is a Bramble Hairstreak, Callophrys dumetorum perplexa, BAMONA has not yet recognized Callophrys viridis and is still calling them dumetorum...It is viridis that is the Coastal Green Hairstreak but NABA calls both dumetorum....Ken Davenport
