Observation notes: Several queens and many other butterfly species were attracted to nectar from brown fluffroot/Wright's acourtia flowers growing from the main arroyo bank at the junction of Soledad Canyon and Bar trails of the Organ Mountains. This afternoon was overcast, humid, cool, and with light wind.
