Observation notes: My only observation of a queen, possibly nectaring from a red morning-glory flower (or taking nutrients from the exterior flower tube). The supporting tall shrub is Apache plume located in Fillmore Canyon. The conditions were overcast, humid, cool, and intermittent misting rain.
