Observation notes: A pair of admirals exhibited various behaviors while perched in a small black cherry tree along the Soledad Canyon Trail. Included was nectaring from red morning-glory flowers and possible egg-deposition in the black cherry tree and on adjacent Apache plume tall shrubs. Site conditions were hot, sunny, and with light wind gusts.
