Observation notes: Found in the morning inside my light trap.
My original search for an identity for this moth settled on Lacinipolia vicina, but according to Annotated Checklist of the Moths and Butterflies (Lepidoptera) of Canada and Alaska by Pohl et al., 2018, L. vicina is not found in Canada, and recorded instances of L. vicina were actually L. sareta. Photos found at various sites match very well with L. sareta.
