Observation notes: Clear, no breeze, temperature right at 60 degrees F, ~6,200 ft elevation. Very warm and very dry conditions experienced all fall continue into December in this area. Small water source nearby had some ice around the edges, but no hard freeze yet. After searching and searching, two individuals seen nectaring on one small chamisa in bloom.

Coordinator notes: HAH! I gotta laugh. it's been that kind of autumn. they are active throughout winter down in Las Cruces, and I suppose such a thing is not out of the question for Los Alamos, maybe 50 years down the road. thanks for getting out and seeing stuff!
