Coordinator notes: I collected that very spot along Old Hwy. 99, 3 days in mid-July 2020 late in the days after collecting higher up on Mt. Ashland. The underside seems defined enough to be juba. The only Hesperia I took at the gravel pit was a worn Hesperia lindseyi but the area also had several fritillaries including Speyeria callippe elaine and Cercyonis pegala ariane and Lycaena xanthoides. Hidden wet spots were productive and I had to get my feet wet...Ken Davenport
