Our summer fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America online and free. If everyone who uses this resource makes a donation, we could cover our ongoing costs, develop new features, upgrade the system, and maybe even remove those pesky ads. Please make a one-time or recurring donation to show your support for this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: Mentosa canyon Mile up road from visitors center in sheltered area on nectar. I will try to post the stick pin in the correct area, I revised the last post in this canyon. I have never been there before and even on both maps I'm not familiar with this area so will have to guess about the exact location. We saw these in every location we went to Fremont, Madera, Mentosa and Sycamore Canyons have only been to AZ once before and these had been scarce that year. Dorantes? Have never seen a long tailed skipper of any species. Hot Clear day very windy.
