Observation notes: It is currently October in the White Mountains of Show Low, Arizona. The highs have been in the 60s and 70s, with the lows trending in the low 40s. My daughter and I found this little guy crossing the road mid day. We brought him home for a photo shoot with macro photography equipment. My six-year-old daughter produced two of the submitted photographs! And she was responsible for all of the lighting in focusing on our friend, and they ended up being spectacular! We would love to know more about this little guy! We kept him in our flower bed that is hanging off of our railing in the backyard. To our surprise, he hung upside down and assumed to go to sleep for the night. We checked on him today, and he was still there in the same position! We checked tonight, and there is webbing completely surrounding him and we think he is cocooning! We are extremely excited to hopefully watch this miracle unfold, But we have little to no information about what he is or what he will be will become!
