Observation notes: Getting moisture or nutrients from the ground presumably. I'm not sure if this can be separated from Acmon from these images, but hopefully it can.

Coordinator notes: your images are fine. the problem is that the features to distinguish acmon from lupini are (in my mind) poorly understood. one such feature, however, is habitat and I think at this elevation you are looking at lupini.
