Observation notes: I was in my raised bed garden when this butterfly flew by and landed on my marigold. I thought it was a small bird at first, as I saw it had a tail. I went into the house, grabbed my camera, came back and got several photos of it on the flower. The weather was sunny, but windy with some clouds. The Longtail was still on the marigold when I left the area.
