Observation notes: only this one seen, nectaring in sunny meadow at about 11,000 feet elevation. mild, breezy. my camera refused to cooperate, but I hope an ID can be made from the fuzzy blur I got.

Coordinator notes: Steve...no doubt a Snout, even from the fuzzy photo (and obviously, you know what Snouts are). Question about the county of the sighting. You told me "Ouray County" but Hinsdale is listed here also. I checked my Delorme map and I think Hinsdale is correct, based on the altitude. Write and let me know to confirm...a COUNTY RECORD in either instance. Mike
