Coordinator notes: This is the Great Plains subspecies of Peck's Skipper...surllano. The camera exposure look to make it a bit more orange overall than usual. This species had a very good flight this year in the urban and suburban areas of the foothills. I think your sighting is in Douglas County...the Jefferson-Douglas countyline is separated in the middle of the Platte River and yours is on the west side at the river. Mike
