Observation notes: This was the largest number of Queens we have ever seen at this section of Ice Canyon behind the Visitor Center at Dripping Springs. It was impossible to count them. There may have been 60 to 100 or more. They were busily feeding on many blooming plants in the dense vegetation. I have included a photo of a male and a female.
