Coordinator notes: Your ID is correct...fulvia experienced a banner year along the eastern Front Range (as far north as Boulder) due the abundant rain this season. This one represents the third and final flight of the summer. Most years you will only see fulvia in the spring (late April-May), the summer flight (late June-July) and later flight as your sighting, rarely seen. Sufficient rain will allow the host (Indian Paintbrush) to continue to grow whereas in other years, it dries up with little rainfall. Mike
