Observation notes: Noticed an unusual butterfly in my Albuquerque backyard and took some iPhone photos. Species seems to be unusual for the area.

Coordinator notes: This is unusual that far north. it breeds only on passionvine, which is not native to NM, but is planted in some flower gardens in southern NM, where it was shown to be breeding earlier this summer. this is a stray from farther south. thanks for submitting!
