Observation notes: I found this caterpillar about a month ago. I put it in my Monarch Butterfly enclosure with a milkweed plant. I googled the caterpillar and waited. This was it’s chrysalis, and today it hatched. I am pretty sure it is a White Ermine.I live in Fountain Valley, CA.
