Observation notes: Flushed out when walking through a clearing with low brush; flew off a short distance, then landed. Clearing is in montane mixed conifer forest. Sun had come out but day was otherwise often cloudy.

Coordinator notes: This doesn't look like Virbia ferruginosa or V. fragilis to me...please someone correct me if you think otherwise. I realize there isn't data for V. aurantiaca in NM.
