Observation notes: About 24°C / 75°F and 61% humidity at sighting. Landed on black shirt while working in open garage. Notable plants in immediate area are Silver Maple, Apple, Honey Suckle, Lily of the Valley, Hydrangea, Rosebushes, Raspberry, Mint, Chives, and Green Onions. Overall length is 30mm / 1.18" from front feet to rear end of retracted wings. Body approximately 23mm / .90" long. Has an unusual lumpy ridge from the head down the back of thorax that resembles tied up black hair, creating the illusion of a long elaborate dress with furry arms.
